I am passionate about the property industry and take pride in the wealth of experience I have gained. I am a member of the National Association of Estate Agents and spent 2 years as a board member representing Lincolnshire. Over the years I have been nominated for national awards and represented Pygott & Crone at industry events across the country."

"Since leaving St George’s I have worked as a Community Care Worker in various places such as Lincoln, Stevenage, Leicester & Northampton. In 2019-20, I completed an access to higher education healthcare practitioner course at Lincoln College. In September 2020 I started studying for my BSc in Podiatry (Foot Doctor) at the University of Northampton, which has allowed me to work within the central & northwest London NHS Foundation trust. Once qualified I plan to open my own business, working privately."

After University, I got more hours at Sainsbury's which led to a full time job where I was accepted on to the Sainsbury's Management Scheme. I am now store manager in the Manchester area."

"Since leaving Sixth Form I have travelled the world as a professional musician, I've been to every continent & visited over 60 countries. Performing to thousands of people all over the world. I've worked as a piano / keyboard player on cruise ships, including Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises, Marcella Cruises & at this moment I am the Musical Director & Band Leader for Virgin Voyages newest cruise ship, The Valiant Lady, over seeing all live music. Without the support of the teachers at the time I wouldn't be where I am today. It's been an adventure!"

"I studied Sports Journalism at Leeds Trinity University after St George's where I graduated with a First Class Honours. In 2019 I joined Lincoln City Football Club as a Marketing & Media Assistant. I was promoted to Media Executive, before being promoted again to Press Officer. After 4 years, I left the business to join McLaren Racing as a Senior Motorsport Communications Executive. I'm based at the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking and regularly travel to global events including Formula One weekends."

"After leaving in 2015 I went to Harper Adam’s University to study Veterinary Nursing. I graduated with a Merit & qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse. I currently work at Foxhall Vets in Ruskington where I have been for 4 years now. Last year I became a Clinical Coach, where I now train Student Veterinary Nurses, helping them to complete their Nursing Progress Log (NPL) or Central Skills Log (CSL)."

"I studied Sports Coaching after leaving St George's and then completed my PGCE in Secondary Education through the St George's Academy SCITT Partnership. I am currently finishing a MSc in Sports Coaching Science before starting my first teaching post in September as a Teacher of PE, PE Lead & Head of Enrichment at a school in West London. The PE department helped inspire me to follow this career paths & I am loving it all while having loads of fun in the process."

"After leaving St George's I went for a job as cabin crew and got through all the interviews but they could not guarantee days off for my final two exams so I did not proceed. I then spent time between the RAF/Navy for medical careers but due to a knee injury I made the decision to withdraw after a failed fitness test. I got into healthcare within the NHS in 2018 & currently I am on a degree apprenticeship in Operating Department Practice, with the hope to work with the organ donation & retrieval team in Leeds."

"Following Sixth Form, I joined Lincoln College to achieve a Higher National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, with a distinction. I am currently in my second year of a Mechanical Degree Apprenticeship with MBDA Missile Systems and have completed the 2 years of University with Firsts."

"I went onto study Level 3 BTEC in Sports Science before completing a Master Degree in Osteopathic Medicine. I had various jobs in the care sector before finding a job at Punch! ABM as a Marketing Executive which I loved. I now work as a holiday sales representative for Jet2, getting to travel to different countries to learn about places in more detail. Jet2 love hands on learning, I am currently in Kayakoy in the Dalaman area of Turkey. My advice for my younger self would be, don't change for the world... change the world for you!"

"After Year 11 I went onto study Accountancy upon finding a love for Maths in school. I started an accounting apprenticeship but quickly realised the suit & tie office lifestyle was not for me as I wanted something more fun & practical. I completed my NPLQ to become a Lifeguard & joined the organisation GLL where I am now a full time duty manager. I also work as a swimming teacher which I absolutely love. It was quite a career change & something I never saw coming but I enjoy my job so much & find it's perfectly suited for me."

After graduating I spent the following year road tripping around Africa & working for the National Trust. I then went on to study at University of Warwick for a Masters in Polymer & Materials Chemistry. I was offered an opportunity of an industry-sponsored PhD with Infineum UK. I am in my final year of doctoral study with the hope of this giving me the opportunity to go anywhere and do anything I set my mind to."

"I applied for the RAF before going towards the Civil Aviation sector at London Heathrow. After two years I applied for the RAF again unfortunately failing at the medical stage. I settled back into Civil Aviation & started working for DHL at East Midlands Airport. In December 2020 I suffered a seizure at work & was diagnosed with Terminal Brain Cancer. Since then I have undergone radiotherapy & chemotherapy. My doctors have told me I may not be able to do anything strenuous but I am slowly working myself back into a normal routine."

"I studied Maths, Chemistry, Physics & IT at A Level, before getting a Masters Degree in Civil Engineering. Whilst at University I undertook a couple of placements for my current employer, VolkerFitzpatrick. Most noticeably working on the Olympic village for the 2012 Olympic games. In 2015, I moved from the company's infrastructure team into their more specialist aviation division. In my 8 years with the company I have worked as a Site Engineer, Project Manager & through training I have obtained Chartered Civil Engineer Status with the Institute of Civil Engineers."

"I left St George's Academy and went to university to study Policing and graduated with a 1st class degree, also winning the award for the best final year student in Policing. During my time at University I became a Special Constable assisting at jobs in a large town in the East Midlands. From here I went onto join the Police Force and have now been a response officer for 1 & a half years. I am currently seconded to a specialised unit which I am finding very rewarding."

"After leaving St George's I went onto college to do Hairdressing where I qualified with an NVQ Level 2 in 2013. In 2018 I started an apprenticeship in Dental Nursing. I qualified with a Level 3 Diploma in January 2021, it would've been sooner but due to the pandemic all exams got set back. My two careers could not be more opposite, but I wouldn't change them for the world. I'm so grateful to St George's for all the opportunities they gave me - to help open all these doors to my future."

"I joined the Prison Service straight after leaving school being the youngest person in the prison service at that time. I stayed there for just under 10 years. I have worked at The Lincolnite for over two years now. I could not have made it where I have without the guidance of staff at St George's & the facilities that allowed me to express myself."

"I studied Uniformed Public Services, which was fun & I learned a lot. It definitely helped me to plan a career in this field. I also became an Apprentice Caretaker at St George's before joining the Army in 2019. Since the pandemic, travel has started to pick up, I've been on exercise to Germany & will be deployed again later this year. I have kept in touch with teachers & support staff & hope to come back to talk to the Public Service students about life in the Forces."
