Success with the Royal Photographic Society
Sixth form photography students have recently completed their level 3 diploma studying at St. George’s Academy in Sleaford. Those with Distinction grades were given the opportunity to apply to the Royal Photographic Society for a Licentiateship. This is an internationally recognised award which allows the students to have the letters LRPS after their name as well as being members of the Society. The academy is really pleased to announce that Daisy, James and Luke have now been accepted in to the Royal Photographic Society and have gained their Licentiateship.
The Royal Photographic Society’s distinctions are internationally respected and sought-after by professional and amateur photographers alike. Over 1000 applicants for Licentiate, Associate and Fellowship of the Society are received each year, with around 600 being successful.
