Rotary Club Young Chef Competition
Once again St George's Academy has taken part in the Rotary Club Young Chef Competition. Our students had to prepare, cook and present a two course meal which is healthy at a total cost of £12.
Four of our students Megan, Phoebe, Ellie-Mae and Alex took part and worked like professional chefs creating some beautiful dishes.
There were 2 joint heat winners, Megan who cooked up lamb chops and a dark chocolate mousse and Ellie-Mae who produced a chicken pie with a proper crust and cranachan (minus the whisky).
Megan and Ellie-Mae will now face students from the Robert Carre Trust in January for the next round.
