Getting Active for Sport Relief
We have had a fun filled sporting week all in the aid of charity. Sport Relief is about getting active, raising money and changing lives. This time it is bigger than ever and we’ve had a whole week of activities lined up.
There has been daily challenges in place for both staff and students to get involved in and raise money for a fantastic charity. Here is just some of what we have got up to:
- Basketball Challenge
- Staff Sport Relief Bake Off (Well done, Miss James)
- Beat the Goalie Competition (Thanks to Mr Mitchell for being Goalkeeper)
- Ruskington Rowing Challenge (Rowing the English Channel)
- Cake Stalls
- Staff vs Student Netball
- A sponsored Just Dance-athon
- 1 mile Fun Run
- Non-uniform Day
Sports Relief is all about getting students feeling good while they do some good. So this year’s theme of ‘”Whatever Moves You’ means there were more ways than ever to get involved and students have certainly done that. The amount raised with be announced in due course.
