Welcome to St George's Academy
I would like to offer a very warm welcome to St George’s Academy.
We are a large, split-site 11-19 Academy situated in the heart of Lincolnshire. Our campuses sit within natural rural landscapes with our larger campus based within a 32-acre site in the market town of Sleaford, and our smaller campus located 4 miles away in the village setting of Ruskington. Both of our campuses offer a broad, balanced, and inclusive curriculum from Year 7, ensuring that students are well-prepared to succeed beyond school regardless of their starting points. We also offer an excellent Sixth Form provision based on the Sleaford Campus, as an integral part of the Sleaford Joint Sixth Form. This is a long established, successful partnership between the three schools within the town, ensuring that we can provide the broadest possible choice of courses for further study for our students.
Our Academy is special. Our students have access to excellent modern facilities across both campuses, and expert specialist staff who deeply care about ensuring that all students aim high to achieve their very best. This is fully reflected in our most recent Ofsted (carried out in June 2024), securing ‘good’ across all elements of our provision. It is both an honour and a privilege to lead such a fantastic team of students and staff, in serving our local community both now and for the future.
